About Grays Harbor Rocktoberfest
The Grays Harbor Rocktoberfest is an annual rock concert held in Aberdeen WA, open to all age concert goers that has in the past featured between seven to ten bands. This year’s Rocktoberfest will be held on Sat. Oct. 21, 2006 and will be held in the Aberdeen Elks Hall (capacity 700). Rocktoberfest will feature some of the finest original rock from the Pacific Northwest. There is a full lounge connecting to the concert room open to persons over 21 with valid ID; concert goers in the lounge still have an excellent view of the bands and the stage.
Why should my band play at Rocktoberfest?
Exposure!!The Grays Harbor Rocktoberfest typically sees an attendance of 500 - 700; even early performances will have a crowd of 200-300 or better.In addition to the sizeable crowd, the show is advertised extensively through radio, television and print.As a local production, the Rocktoberfest receives generous support from the local community, including radio sponsorship for the show as well as a professionally produced 30 second television commercial which willair roughly 200 times on Comcast cable during Wrestling, on VH1, MTV2, and ESPN. JED crafted 11 new songs for “Synesthesia” and recorded at Oceanside Recording with engineer and producer Brian Smith over several months time during 2005. In December 2005, renowned Seattle producer Jack Endino visited Aberdeen and joined Smith and the band in the studio to mix the new record, taking about a week of 12 hour sessions. The album was mastered in Seattle by Rick Fisher of RFI, with both Smith and Endino at hand. Synesthesia will be officially released on April 1, 2006. JED will be performing dates throughout the Northwest and then heading out on their "Storming the Fortress Tour" in June 2006. Jan. 1, 2005 Bellingham, WA.The Carnelian Agency is pleased to announce their two year anniversary date as a booking agency for the live entertainment industry. President Katherine Dalen incorporated Carnelian in 2003; and spent the better part of that first year establishing the business identity and setting up the main office location. Formerely known as JED and hailing from Aberdeen, WA, Algorithm has self released 4 albums in the past 8 years. Their last recording, Sanctuary 200, received international recognition and got the band recognized by industry veteran John Gocha of Planet Earth Records in Los Angeles, California. Algorithm have been writing material for their new album and will begin recording in early 2005. The Carnelian Agency will be booking shows for the band to tour in support of their new album.

Popular San Francisco band on track for early 2005 release of soph album InsOmnia
San Francisco – December 16, 2004 -- MiGGs, the Bay Area alternative rock band that sold -- literally from the back of a van -- over 10,000 copies of its debut release, has just announced the release date for its upcoming sophomore album InsOmnia. The album, due out on January 25, 2005, will be released by 33rd Street Records, the coveted boutique shop owned by Tower Records and led by respected industry veteran Morty Wiggins. 33rd’s list of artists includes Cowboy Mouth, Alex de Grassi, Army of Freshmen and The Eagles (DVD releases). 33rd Street will handle traditional CD sales and promotions for the quartet, headed by the charismatic lead singer, Don Miggs.
InsOmnia, the band’s second album, is produced by the legendary Gavin MacKillop (Goo Goo Dolls, Barenaked Ladies, Sugarcult) with reknowned mix/engineer JC Convertino (Talking Heads, Miles Davis, Madonna) producing two additional tracks at San Francisco’s new state-of-the-art recording facility, SF Soundworks.
